Major Public Holidays
The court observes several religious, regional, and national holidays:
- Losoong/Namsoong: Observed in early January (Jan 2–4) and late December (Dec 20–25).
- Maghe Sankranti: January 14 (Tuesday).
- Republic Day: January 26 (Sunday).
- Id-Ul-Fitr: March 31 (Monday).
- Independence Day: August 15 (Friday).
- Durga Puja (Dasain): September 30 to October 4 (Tuesday to Saturday).

Operational Rules
Sunday Holidays: Public holidays that fall on a Sunday are explicitly noted in the official holiday list.
Saturday Closures: The High Court remains closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
