Key Vacation Periods (2025)
- Summer Vacation: From Monday, June 2, 2025, to Sunday, June 29, 2025 (inclusive).
- Winter Holidays: From Monday, December 22, 2025, to Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
General Holidays & Court Closures
The High Court is closed on all Sundays, Second Saturdays, and Fourth Saturdays. Major holidays include:
- Republic Day: January 26.
- Holi: March 13–15.
- Idul-Fitar: March 31 (Subject to moon visibility).
- Independence Day: August 15.
- Deepawali Holidays: October 18–23.
- Christmas Day: December 25.
Special Working Day Adjustments
- Court Working Saturdays: The Court will hold sittings on April 5, September 20, and November 1, 2025.
- Office Only Working Days: Dates shown in Green Ink on the calendar indicate days where only the Office is working, and no court sittings are held.
- Non-Working Day: October 24, 2025, is designated as a non-working day for both the Court and the Office.
Restricted Holidays (RH)
Employees in the office of the Registrar General can choose two restricted holidays from a list of 24 options. Selections must be submitted by January 10, 2025. Options include:
- Guru Govind Singh Jayanti: January 6 and December 27.
- Vishwakarma Jayanti: February 10.
- Ganesh Chaturthi: August 27.
- Anant Chaturdashi: September 6.
